Carver George Johnson of the Wuikinuxv Nation has been working on the totem pole you see here for 1.5 years, it isn't quite done yet. Carved from yellow cedar the feathers that make up the wings of the eagle have had their design burned into them

The Wuikinuxv Nation has lived on the Central Coast of British Columbia for thousands of years. Filled with grizzly bears, waterfalls and towering mountains, their territory is extremely beautiful. Pictured here is their community big house. The
